The only other things I can think of is make sure you have the latest firmware (you can download Sony's official 'Firmware Updater for DualSense' for Windows 10/11). Other than that, also check in your controller settings (vis Steam game > Prop > cont) that it's highlighting 'Playstation' as your connected controller.
A decent controller (like the one you get with the new Xbox) with precise-enough left/right motors should be able to do that as well...
Anyway, I got my purchase refunded, so I'm outta here... Let's see how the PC port looks in a few months.
Plague Tale Requiem, Miles Morales and Death Stranding (which is a very Sony-near title) are supporting native Dualsense features on PC.
I have hopes, that a day one or day two patch will target the issues, as Xbox controllers also do not work properly.
I'm thinking of buying a dualsense controller but already have an Elite v2... do you recommend it based on titles that have 100% support of its functions or not worth the money? Thanks :)
People keep saying that, but I can tell you that I DO know the difference between Rumble and Haptics. I'm getting HAPTICS (little subtle bumps in the pause menu, lovely rumble during flight, TONS of stuff happening during fights, etc. It's throughout the game, and It's very "next-gen" feeling). All with with my DualSense.
Not through the triggers though, I don't think that's implemented :(
I'm not trying to be contrary here, but if people are trying to diagnose the problem, it's good for them to know that DualSense support IS in the game.
My point exactly lol. there is no problem with the game just problem with what people say.
Do you have steam input disabled, and do you play wired? I have tried with steam input and without, via usb and wireless and theres no rumble, no haptics or anything.
Guys.. I just tried the game on my PC and can confirm that when using the DualSense wired, and enabling Steam Input, the rumble is indeed NOT the standard rumble.
It may not be "full fledge" haptics that you get on the PS5 version, but I can absolutely confirm that the rumble is much nuanced and high definition than standard rumble. The controller subtly vibrates when you hover over menus, and the standard R2 casting feels very subtle and high quality. Same with like the landing thump when jumping.
THIS IS HUGE lol. Completely changes the experience.
