Just stop saying that. (Disclaimer, I'm a trans guy myself and no, that doesn't make my idea more important than yours in this argument, just proving to my trans fellas that they might be wrong.) First of all, we all know what J.K. Rowling said in the past and still says about trans girls, but that's absolutely not related to her operas. If you like harry potter and decide to buy those books, you're NOT supporting transphobia or even financing it. Like i said, you're just enjoyng the opera, not the autor. Same thing goes for hogwarts legacy! At this time rowling it's not even directly interested in the topic cause' we're talking about Avalanche Software. The first thing that these guys did was disassociating themselves out of her words, not for a financial purpose but to shut down these voices. They even included the possibility of new trans characters in the future. They worked so hard for this game, for letting us vising hogwarts again in a new way, by playing it. Ruin all of theirs effort in this way it's useless, not just cause' no one's listening but even cause' you guys are dragging all the lgbt comunity in this dumb situation putting everyone in a bad light, and actually homophobics and transphobic are taking advance of it. After all this is just a game.
In conclusion, if you guys still not believe me, there's no problem.

I admit that I haven't been involved in this debate regarding J. K.Rowling at all over the past years. I have been looking into her, and her trasphobic statements. Am I an idiot for not being able to find anything? Not just hearsay, or someone else calling her transphobic, but some statements in her own words which is.

oh don't worry, actually the old ones are a little bit difficult to find but they still are on twitter or somewhere else, while the last one goes back to januar, if you search her page on twitter and scroll down for a bit you can clearly see it.

Honestly there is simple answer to this entire debacle. WHO CARES. I could not give two craps about how this even become a topic for debate in this thread in the first place. Whether people are trans or not, none of my business, i simply respect the choices that others have made.

But yeah, I bought this game on its own merits as a game. I support trans by not being a t-phobe, same with gay, not a h-phone... same with races, and what have you. And if anyone ever wants to slap a title on me for buying this game they can do so, cause I also support freedom of speech lol.
