i mean. i do not ask for a sword, but let's be honest here. i metal wand with a pointy end and a sharp side would be a lot nicer for everything. what the lore is saying on that ?

i searched on the net a bit, apparently thing post medieval era are prohibited, especially weaponry, but a blade is considered magic in itself since a very long time, druids had some. the copper sickle is only for a specific ritual

most people during this time (non magical) would have a dagger... could be good. but im fairly sure there is no daggers in the game. would be a good secondary tho.

Mods could most likely change the wand to a sword but it'll still be a wand at the end of the day

man i hate that sword so much. it looks like a toy prop replica of an regalia one plus you cannot cast magic with it. that said i'm not even sure jkr defined how wands works but since she included a lenght component in them i guess it's like a rifle.

Would a Blade have been cooler than a wand? Sure, but that is not what JK Rowling used when she created the lore for her Wizarding world.

If you're going to play a game in the Harry Potter universe you're going to use a wand.
