I did find a statue in the main quest that very much looked like Gandalf my character asked "Who is that?" and my "companion" in the quest was like "with these robes, it could be everyone.". I take it as an Gandalf Easter Egg though because it's grey stone and it looks exactly like Gandalf so it is Gandalf the Grey. xD

My apologies, but Gandalf is from a completely DIFFERENT IP (intellectual property).
He is either no magican but a Maia, which are sort of "half-gods" in the world of LotR, even though "half-god" is quite a bad description, since it's far more complicated than that.

But I guess I rather describe it as that, as of you thinking it would be legit that he appears in this game.

Don't be silly. The Middle Earth and Harry Potter IPs are two utterly separate IPs and both are copyrighted to the max.

Tachyon, I don't think that's what a Easter egg is. If you take part of coding, it would be very much possible to let Mario jump around the screen and nobody ever spots it (sorta In this case), who say's the character is named Gandalf. It can be a certain character looking like Gandalf and throws out a couple of lines.(referring to Tolkien's world) Just my opinion, I do agree, just because the outcome is sorta the same... it won't be there :P
