To those who have arachnophobia

Watched plenty of gameplay and... spiders are pretty much everywhere you go in the game, not just forbidden forest, they also jumpscare you. We, arachnophobes, are getting horror harry potter game!

You know, Rupert Grint is an archnaphobe and he was asked "How did you do the movie if you are?" wanna know his answer? "There's a bit of a difference from a giant spider and one that can crawl in your clothes." So if he can see the difference between real and fiction, why can't people playing a game? He was actually touched/exposed to these things O.o.

I am arachnophobic and spiders etc in video games do not bother me at all lol

I think Skyrim has the worst spiders, i never got to play the game because of it back in the day, only recently got to play it thanks to a mod that removes spiders from the game

overcoming psychological phobias isnt as simple as merely 'growing up'

also, i have seen modders remove spiders and other triggers from games so, its possible they could replace the models that spiders use with something else. like snakes.

You don't have arachnophobia unless you have had a traumatic experience with spiders. Not liking spiders just means you are a regular person listening to genetic memory.

In theory, if you had a traumatic experience with spiders, then it wouldnt be a phobia, as phobias are irrational, and a traumatic experience would be a rational reason to fear them.

I went to the "cave". If you go in the "cave" you may have a hard time because they keep skittering all over and they get bigger and more scary AND you have the stress of solving puzzles so you can get the f-out. I had to refund "Grounded" because of the spiders but, the spiders are just fantastical enough that I could stomach through the torture chamber that is called a "cave". GL my archnaphobes.
