I feel like the unasked question here is: Is there a difference in the houses besides aesthetics? From everything I've seen, no, there's not.

Don't speak too harshly about Hufflepuffs. They're the most friendly, loyal people around you who make for great friends and will support you through the worst of times. A world without Hufflepuffs would be a sad world.

There is no best House. Which house performs the best depends entirely on who is making up its roster that term/s.
