Can I Play? GTX 960 4GB & FX-8350

I know it states 720p at low settings and 30fps with a CPU higher than mine, but would there be a way for me to play this anyways, like I'd just get lower than 30fps, I've never really had this issue come up until now, yes I know I should probably upgrade but that's also costly

I love open world games and missing out on this would be such a shame if I couldn't play it right now

If anyone could give me insight on if it'd be okay or it'd be bad and destroy my system, I'd appreciate it

I usually don't state RAM but I do have 16GB RAM, as I think that's the base minimum for a gamer's PC

Also, the PC has been through extensive gaming for over 7 years, the most my CPU temp has spiked to was 65, with lots of airflow in the PC as I have a medium tower

It seems I may give it a go anyways given all that was stated and through the video which shows comparisons of the two CPU's, most I can do is try, if I can't run it, then I can just refund it anyways, just really needing to make sure it doesn't destroy my PC

I used to use an FX 8350 machine though I had it paired with an RX 480, 16gb of ram and a 256gb SSD boot drive.

It was still doing pretty well when I retired it.

I would say no. Fx is not for gaming in 2023

again, first, the benchmark which you shown has a stronger gpu, and 2nd, as far as i know is the GTX 960 not even DX12 ready.

next time press f5, maybe someone edits something in their post

i still say OP wont be able to run it.
if it starts well, then he has a low FPS show. if OP has nothing against low fps ... well go for it.

i would recomment to OP to not buy hogwarts legacy until he upgraded his PC.

since OP says his cpu is already weaker, forget it. i doubt aswell that you have with your (a wild assumption) lesser then 16gb ram.

oh yea, keep in mind that hogwarts has a Denuvo DRM aswell, your cpu needs to handle this aswell. while denuvo has no impact on nowadays standard pc´s like mine and high end PC´s probably care even less, will it probably have an impact on your specc.

You better off watching a YouTube game-play in 4k than playing 720 on 30 fps , it saves you money as well.
