yeah I know it was really reasonable and I would support him too. Even as a Muggle such weapons should not exists. But than again already do we have new weapons that is not as much dangerous but still destructive. Aerosol or Vaccum Bombs are now the most destructive non nuclear weapons. There will be always new weapons of mass destructions.

"Muggles" have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of scorched earth weapons. Wizard would crush muggles 1v1 but it would be a pyrrhic victory when everything around you is radiated, salted, toxic, etc. White Phosporous, Agent Orange, modern day napalm, nukes, good ol' salt. I mean what's a Dark Forest to Agent Orange.....

Remember, I'm speaking from a scorched earth perspective, the kill millions of innocent people to win a war, type of scenario.

Depends on the imagination of the writer. Personally I'd send 99 of the wizards home and have one from Slytherin cast a few Imperius curses on high ranking officers and dismantle the whole thing from within.

Muggles wouldn't stand a chance if the wizarding world ever let loose on them.

we do not know if the wizard have capacity to stop bullet with magic if they do then yes it's possible for them to win on ground But on air and long range they'll eventually get oblitarate , let's not forgot that the full might of the US could total destroy the castle and full on production they could also find and make anti magic clothings

the anti-magic clothing is actually a fair point. Humanity has shown itself throughout history to rapidly adapt to whatever we're figthing. It wouldnt be very long before the military started finding a way to integrate magic into the way they fight. the wizarding world on the otherhand still uses basically medieval age technology.

tho it's also possible the wizard have learn from past experience and could works on guerilla tactics to quickly eliminate military troops there alot of variable

I mean, there was possibility of escalation of this small incident to a proper Nuclear conflict between China and USA and nobody actually has a death wish in USA army compared to regular Joe Shmoe nobody crackhead that use Steam forums.
