It's not about the look of the goblins for these people. It's about how these goblins are displayed. Greedy, Banker, Big Nose.....
But anyway. These ''Woke White Knights'' will find everytime something to hate the game.
also just because its an "article" doesnt mean its based in fact, we live in a world now where people will write hate articles just to get people to hate read it because they make money regardless of what they post, as long as people view it, they win
Jon Stewart pointed this out as a huge joke, he thought that it was so ridiculous that no one would take it seriously and know instantly it was a joke. (he is Jewish himself for for those who do not know of him).
Below is what Jon said after the event - taken from a British news paper for my own ease:
“This morning I wake up, it’s trending on Twitter, and here’s the headline … ‘Jon Stewart accuses JK Rowling of antisemitism.’”
He added: “So let me just say this super clearly, as clearly as I can.
“Hello, my name is Jon Stewart. I do not think JK Rowling is antisemitic.
“I do not think the Harry Potter movies are antisemitic.
“I really love the Harry Potter movies, probably too much for a gentleman of my considerable age.
“I cannot stress this enough – I am not accusing JK Rowling of being antisemitic. She need not answer to any of it.
“I don’t want the Harry Potter movies censored in any way. It was a lighthearted conversation.”
It's more likely just mixed with the fact a lot of anti-Semitic cartoons portray Jews as goblin like creatures. I don't think anything in HP is intentionally anti-Semitic, but goblins themselves have been used in that way.
