I'm pretty sure you'll be able to wander around the world even after the game is over.
Previous Harry Potter games allowed this, let alone Hogwarts Legacy which is an open-world RPG lol

I'd "Hope" there would be trial dungeons or something to put all of your spells to the test, but that might be too farfetched of an idea.

I think it is safe to expect some kind of collectibles or challenges once we finish the story, and if not, they'll probably add something as a DLC. Playerbase is going to be too big not to do so.
