No, it just looks like any other open world rpg, the attack animation is pretty repetitive too. Multiplayer would give this game something unique about it. Other than that imma pass.
Despite that being kinda fun sometimes, I don't want it in my RPGs.
That was entertaining, thanks for that, and yes...What you said.
I agree and it seems like story focused single player games are experiencing something of a resurgence.
Jedi Fallen Order
Hogwarts Legacy
Starfield
Jedi Survivor
Atomic Heart
Star Trek: Resurgence
I'm sure there's more, but those are the ones I can name off the top of my head.
Its all lock on combat, players stuck during the casting animation, watch gameplay of it, you can see enemies surround the player and wait patiently on the sidelines as the player swirls thier want, getting a guy in mid-air, spamming him will spells while floating till ultimately blasting him with a stronger spell. In the span of 3-6 secs while enemies just stand by mugging at the player character for thier turn to be blasted.
This isnt a combat focused game its a exploration first, story second game.
But hey maybe in the future if this game is succesfull they might work on a true Harry Potter Universe MMORPG or something like that. Would be interesting I love playing MMORPGs. Although the only I play currently is still FF14 and only when new expansions and seasonal events happens.
