Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black

He is currently the head master in this game. So it should be a very interesting character to learn about.

Phineas Black -> Acturus Black II -> Cedrella Black (Married Septimus Weasley) -> Arthur Weasley

Obviously also related to Sirius III Black who was Harry Potter's godfather.

I was looking at the fandom site but it shows what I think is number 2 for Phineas who was disowned for supporting muggle rights. And that would mean that character is not the same as Phineas Black. It also mentions that this headmaster was the least favorite in the history of Hogwarts so we could be in for a very interesting ride.

I didn’t know Arthur Weasley was related. That means Lucius gave his cousins family a diary of Riddles. That’s a very different light on the books as it seems so many of the people were related.

Phineas Black would be the son of Phineas Nigellus Black which would clear up the confusion on the being disowned thing

I didn't realize that the Wesley's were related to the Malfoy's so closely. Seems like if wizards wanted to survive they would be breeding with muggles to grow the population and get some new blood in.

That's where half bloods come in. I believe in the early 1800's a lot of pure blood wizards realised they couldn't survive by being with their sister wives and the ministry of magic "allowed" wizards and muggles to marry and have babies

Basically all the pure-blood families are related. But the Weasly family are the ones who married "outside" of their cousins, unlike the Blacks, or Malfoy. Arthur is Sirius Black III's 2nd Cousin Once removed through this Professor Black. Because he's Sirius Black III's great-great grandfather but Arthur's great-grandfather.


Molly Weasly and Sirius Blacks are shared cousins because Sirius' Aunt, married the Uncle of Molly's.
