What kind of FPS we expecting for Steam Deck?

It runs on the switch, so at least 30 fps but I wouldn't be surprised if it can do 60 as it's a lot more powerful than the switch and I doubt the switch is gonna run it sub 30 fps

They need an extra like 4 or 5 months to make it even playable on the switch. I don't think that'd indicative of how it'll be on the steam deck.

Yeah PS4/Xbox One were delayed to April and the Switch version comes out in July

its gona "run on switch" with probaly worse grapichs then is possible to even reach on other platforms probaly the reason ps4 and xbox version is delayd is they can't even run the game at 720p 30 fps lowest graphics

That's probably due to the fact that the OS of the Nintendo Switch is completely different, even the Playstation and Xbox have an OS closer to Windows than the switch, the closest OS being the 3DS, I doubt that's mostly about performance fixes.

Same for other previous gen consoles: Their OS is quite custom while newer consoles are not. PS5 is literally based on FreeBSD and Xbox being pretty close to just Windows.

I am sure it will be fine especially since it has already been confirmed to be certified. Is it gonna run like the ps5/xbox? No. But I am sure with the right settings you can easily get 30 FPS. It is a portable device after all so i didn't get mine to be a god device, I usually throttle mine to 40FPS and refresh rate even if it can run the game better for better battery life.

Maybe if you are trying to push the steam deck higher than it should be. If i can run RDR2, Spiderman, and Horizon at decent settings in native resolution, I am not worried about this game.

If you get a steam deck expecting PS5 equivalent graphics at native resolution to the steam deck, you will be disappointed.
