I mean there's not even any fire sound and the music is way to jumpy for such relaxing visuals.

Kind of, but it does feel nice just sitting and looking at the fire and relaxing.

I'm not trying to be a downer here though the designs are great, if nothing else I'll enjoy just walking around hogwarts. I'm actually really excited to see if the castle gets spooky after hours.

Absolutely. I just know that there will be times I just plop in my common room and just enjoy being in there.
