Should I get the game on PC or PS5?
I have heard PS5 will have exclusive quest and items, but will there be ray tracing, ultrawide support and 120 fps capability on the PC version?

If you already have a ps5 may as well get it there as what else are you going to play on it?

The quest is a timed exclusive. Having said that, get it on the better machine. If your pc is better why wouldn't you buy it on that?

the dualsense haptics just hits differently on PS5. However, if PC version has raytracing, ultrawide and 120 fps support, I am buying this on PC

Doesn't PS5 require a subscription fee just to play online? :lunar2019laughingpig: Just stick to PC

Hogwarts Legacy is a single player game only. But yes, if the game had any only online component to it, I would never buy the game on PS5.
Imagine paying extra to play online

I always buy RPGs on PC because of the ability to mod it later. But depends on you, if you think it is better to get it on PS5 do so.

Yeah, I worded that badly. I stay away from consoles for a number of reasons nowadays, one being the principle of fees to play online. So I'd never recommend anyone play a game on a console unless they absolutely have to.

Doesn't Steam support dualsense? I've been meaning to get one, still using a ds4.

DualSense features are supported on PC. Developers just have to enable them

Now that you mention it, modding has huge potential for this game. However, I heard this game will have Denuvo DRM, which might make modding impossible

tbh the only reason I bought the PS5 is to entertain my guests
can't do that with a PC, because it's 'personal' computer

I doubt Sony will let them enable DualSense feature for this game on PC, especially when PS5 barely has any console exclusives coming this year

Denuvo only effects mods that use the .exe itself.

Depends. Most tend to take off Denuvo after the initial month or so, since it's usually been cracked by then, and also served its purpose (in the publishers eyes atleast)
