Not likely. Very few games that don't have ray tracing actually use 8GB of VRAM at 4K. They might reserve it, but that isn't the same as actually using it.

Most newer games from the last couple of years will not run consistently at 60fps maxed in 4k even on my 3090. Usually you have a particle effect or something that is poorly optimized. I tend to run modern open worlds like Elden Ring or RDR2 in 1440p and save 4k for older games like Dark Souls. I would bet this game will probably only get 100% 60fps at max settings in 1440p.

You will absolutely be able to get 60FPS at 4K. It remains to be seen if you might want to tone down something from absolute ultra quality, or use raytracing, or DLSS. But there is no question you will be able to get 60FPS or better with everything looking absolutely fantastic and you not know the difference.

I too have a 4070 Ti in a new system and I am 100% confident that it can handle things.

The fact that it uses the garbage Unreal Engine 4. I would bet that it is going to run like hot turd on anything. I was hoping it was Avalanches own game engine. So no preorder for me.

its a cross gen game, graphics aren't that good or heavy so i think that even without dlss 4k 60 is achievable.

You can t do these guesses for ♥♥♥♥ sake. Same engine might run ♥♥♥♥ in some games and good in others. It all depends on level of detail and mostly optimization..
