I know they said this will be a thing... but... I kinda wish they'd just let you customize it all... hmmm there is a mod idea!

what exactly do you want to adjust? most things in the game will be customizable.

iirc the import sets your patronus, wand... ummm... it's been a while >.>

Do you get anything for doing that pottermore thing? I heard about it but I thought it was just to suppress the hype until launch. I may have to check it out

I'm looking at it again now and the front page suggests there are exclusive goodies for importing

You will get your own Wand.(you can change it ingame anyway if you dont want that one) also there is Beaked Mask+ set o Fan-atic School Robes

If they just work as a starting point but can be changed, then that is nice
But be honest, we've seen some truely attrocious import implementations in the past; Dragon Age Keep was the only one I can remember that did a fairly good job of it
