Totally possible. Might make the game a bit short, unless it's part of the story. That could be interesting actually.

A game over cutscene would be interesting, they did something similar in the chamber of secrets game if you were caught during the slytherin common room level, but in this case I don't think we will get such level of freedom.

You can then begin your career as a wizard dropout washing dishes magically or return to your witch moms basement (or dungeon with the witch stepmom DLC).

I really think too many people are seeing this game as a simulator and not what it is, an action rpg. I highly doubt that you are going to get to do anything that is going to derail the game, like going totally rogue or getting expelled.

I would imagine they have a section for addressing half muggle wizards. That would be crazy if they have an extensive playable zone of the muggle areas.
