How to make Hot Butterbeer For Release
So when me and my wife got back from the Wizarding World at Universal Orlando we wanted MORE butterbeer!! Our favorite was the hot butterbeer. She found this recipe online and it taste just like the real stuff. Here's the recipe for anyone who wants to make hot Butterbeer on release day!

Hot Butter Beer Recipe
Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 cups milk
2 tbsp butterscotch sauce - (Can be found in the icecream topping section of store.)
12 ounces cream soda (1 can)
Whipped cream and extra butterscotch sauce for topping

Instructions

Add butter, brown sugar, and milk to a medium saucepan.
2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp butter, 2 cups milk
Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Continue until mixture is steamy, butter is
melted and brown sugar is dissolved.
Add butterscotch sauce and heat for just a couple minutes.
2 tbsp butterscotch sauce
Add cream soda and heat a little longer until liquid is thoroughly heated through.
12 ounces cream soda
Top with whipped cream and butterscotch sauce.
Whipped cream and extra butterscotch sauce for topping

Notes

Because this drink contains dairy, you don’t want to walk away while it’s on the stove. It doesn’t need to boil, so heat it just until the brown sugar dissolves and the mixture is nice and hot. Want to cut back on the calories? Feel free to substitute diet cream soda, sugar free butterscotch or caramel syrup and reduced fat milk!

It doesn't taste anything like soda once it's all done. I also forgot to say this is a Hot Butterbeer recipe. I fixed it with an edit. Ooops. But the hot butter beer was my favorite out of all of them.
But wouldn't it still be carbonated? I've never liked feeling the bubbles in my mouth, so I'll stick to coffee.

I believe in general it is a butterscotch cream soda that has a frothy creamy top.

So I suppose you could get a butterscotch latte with whip cream.

Been there done that. Ate the biggest box they had from universal. The flavor of vomit grows on you after the 10th one. lmao
Sorry it's a tiny bit offtopic but, one of my doctors somehow obtained a supply of only the bad ones, and I discovered this because he gave me one (as if he was just offering me a piece of candy) to test if I had the virus. :trainbowbarf:

Sad that the butter beer in UK Harry Potter world tastes like vomit. I heard the Orlando one is actually nice.

I use A&W but any creamsoda would probably work. I think the original is made with A&w as well but not positive on that. As an alternative for creamsoda... No idea. Maybe rootbeer? lol. Wouldn't be the same though.

Not sure if you can order it in your location but maybe you can check.

I'll just put a stick of butter in beer and be done with it. Make it a race heart attack or game completion which will be first.

"Real" cream soda is made by a company called A&W, but there are tons of other companies who make their own. Here's a big list[en.wikipedia.org] of the names it's called in different countries.

when I make it I just use cream soda, some vanilla icecream, and a little melted butter and mix it all together XD

Rootbeer would have too much sassafras and not enough vanilla.
For an adult, you can make flavor-copycat of cream soda by mixing a standard shotglass of Captain Morgan spiced rum into a full can of 7up soda. In fact that might be a good way to make a "spiked" version like somebody mentioned on the first page.

I'll have to write this down and try it sometime, thanks. We have a local store that stocks the Flying Cauldron (Virgil's) Butter Beer so I bought some of that.

Awesome! Everythings better with butterbeer!

Wait.

There's no beer in butterbeer?!

... Well you know I guess that makes sense, being it's something students can buy. But then again Hogwarts is in Scotland so how was I to know?
