Harry Potter is a story that travels the years, aging with the readers of the time. I made the mistake of thinking Harry potter was like Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew, and aimed for young kids. The stories that J.K. Rowling wrote go well beyond and I am thoroughly enjoying the books now.
In addition, some books written for children can be loved by all ages. Just as The Hobbit was written for children and is a fantastic and timeless book for all ages as well.
Harry Potter is more than a book for certain ages, but a creation of a new world and new ideas. In the end, they are still just Dursleys, looking to get a rise, and their words should not be taken to heart.
People who say there is no death in Harry Potter obviously never watched or read it all. I think the watered down LEGO games poisoned how people viewed the series.
But anyone who thinks the rest of the series is must be KINDA thick? I mean, seeing the movie promo posters for the last few movies with GROWN UP Harry,Ron,Hermione with grim faces ect... I mean, it really just shows they shouldn't be throwing opinions out there.
I think all the ghosts are, save Myrtle.
