There is no S.P.E.W.
And also, even if there was? Why would you dismiss the value of having a race of magical slaves at your beck and call?
That's like a housewife in the 1960's being like "We denounce washing machines and microwave ovens!"
It's just not even going to be a thing at all. They would only ever have unanimous support if house elves themselves were allowed to vote.
You could perhaps make a case where the slaves are happy that they're enslaved, due to some personality quirk or due to it being more dangerous on their own, but that's still a problematic argument due to potential coercion or indoctrination.
That's not really a valid analogy, since washing machines and ovens aren't sentients.
And arguing that slave masters would not vote to abolish slavery when the slaves themselves are not allowed to vote is also not really a valid argument to retain slavery.
It is easy to judge another's situation, when you do not have to know everything involved.
Which a lot of people are way too dense to understand.
I better get a jackhammer and start drilling into those damned concrete heads...
Indeed. I still enjoy discussing the Hotter Parry books, even though they occurred 100 years later. The lore is still relevant, but S.P.E.W. is not during the time of our Hogwarts experience that is coming.
Could be! The headmaster for Hogwarts Legacy was Slytherin, as per Sirius's conversation with Harry in Book 5.
Absolutely.
Regardless, I am thinking this will not work, as it has to be the master that presents the clothing is how I understand it. I have not yet made it far enough to see her impact, but definitely interesting.
