Can you get preorder reward w/o preordering?

Is this "Onyx Hippogriff Mount" available to non-preordering people? Like it is there in the game but we have to purchase it with in-game currency

Nope. The only way to get the preorder bonuses is by preordering. They will not be for sale separate. The only "separate" purchase is the dark arts arena which is essentially the deluxe edition upgrade without early access.

I really hope to get an answer before the release, might preorder just not to miss this beaut, who wouldn't want an onix? I can evolve it to a steelix but where to find a metal coat in hogwarts?

You will be able to upgrade to the dark arts pack to get thestral mount but not the Onyx one (as thats a pre order exlusive)

You're totally correct and that's why it doesn't. It's a cosmetic skin that makes the mount everyone gets in the game look slightly different. That's it.

"High Quality" would imply it's somehow better than the white one... There is no difference outside of color... Same with the Thestral, it's just a different skin. It's not like it goes faster or turns tighter because someone painted it black.
