Get on ma lvl
Yeah forreal though, games are only going to get bigger.
OP:
Also, this game will likely run like crap on an external HDD. I'd recommend a SSD if you're forced to use external.
I'm curious if your PC would even be able to run this game though it sounds like you're working with a walmart build, not a gamin laptop.
Is this some form of a low Bait Troll?
And external HDD? WTF
I had a feeling based on what you said that this would be the case, but I was thinking it'd be your GPU.
Hope the switch version works out for you.
you dont need a $1,000 gaming laptop to run something like this or even have reasonable storage. my $600 nitro 5 nearly meets recommended specs and im sitting around with nearly 400gb of space to use. the reason people are calling this a bait thread and poking fun is because its 2023 and youre complaining about an open world game taking up loads of space. dragon age inquisition is around 60gb, cyberpunk is around 70, witcher 3 is around 55-60. the vast majority of people have more than enough space and if they dont then their computer more than likely will not be able to run the game period.
also, dont recommend external hard drives. a hard drive is already slow enough but to recommend an external one for a laptop (which, btw, has a slot on the inside where you can install a hard drive or solid state drive VERY easily) when you can buy an internal SSD on amazon for around the same price just doesnt make any sense. you can get a top of the line samsung 1tb ssd for well under $100.
Where was I complaining? And again, not everybody has the money to just buy a new laptop. And not all laptops function the way that yours does, it's made by completely different companies. There's no reason to be so condescending. Just because it's 2023 doesn't mean that everybody on the planet is able to have brand new things that can support every game on earth.
