Dualsense Native in Pc?

Maybe the ps5 dualsense controller will be natively recognized on pc

Definitely not at launch, maybe after a few months, Sony paid a lot of dollarydoos for exclusive content on their platform, they won't want features like haptic feedback and such that could be game sellers given to the opposition especially at launch. You will be able to use the gamepad but it won't function with all those bells and whistles.

astro playroom isnt part of this conversation tho as it doesnt have a pc release

Same for dualshock 4 too unfortunally.
Fifa 22 and 23 recongizes them, but ac valhalla needs that stupid program called ds4windows to recognize it, whereas windows automatically recognizes it.
So, dont get your hopes up with the ds5 :)

Honestly, ive tried it, both a 360 controller, and an xbox1 controller, as well as the xbox for windows controller.

Still cannot get adjusted to the layout (dpad and left thumbstick switched) or the triggers.
The triggers on the dualshock controllers are a lot smoother for me.

I use xbox elite 2 for pc and i have 3 dualsense controllers that i use with ps5 and just cycle them around when one of them dies.

yes correct. native support can only be achieved by using cable, but later this year you will be able to use DSX from steam wireless and it will support native Adaptive Triggers, not haptic feedback though.
