Pre-purchase? Buy on Release? or Wait for Discount?
2022 is the year of AAA game for me. I bought a lot of pre-purchase stuff from CoD to NFS, and now both of them getting a significant valuable discount and the bonus of prepurchasing is not even rewarding at this point. So, what team are you guys?

Pre-ordered because I've been waiting for a game like this since my childhood. It's the "Shut up and take my money" moment I've never had before

Well for me Im probably getting the game either way. However the preorder people do get to start playing on the 7th. Due to that it will still give me a few days to preorder for the bonus mount while still getting some more information after people have actually played it.

no team basicly, but heavily urgent needs on this game, because it contains Hogwarts as a WHOLE

There is some points about "boring" gameplay mechanic as i can see that the animation of casting is repetitive. But yes there is also some points that make me interested about this game is how we could explore Hogwarts and its Villages that never been explored in the movie. Im so confused for now as i have limited budget hahahaha

Wait until its had a patch or two and people are giving honest opinions having played the game.
I preordered.
If you like what you saw in demos go for it, if you don't want to play day 1 you can wait.
I can't wait!

I pre-ordered just so I can play on the 7th instead of the 10th. Literally the only reason.

im waiting, plus we don't have the "shop quest" that ps owners have

I agree! Always best to wait. I found that most AAA titles the last few years...need a bit of time to get properly polished. By that time, they're already cheaper.
I always tend to prepurchase games I'm interested in, but in doing so I have been disappointed before. The main factor should be whatever is financially viable and sensible for your circumstances

Don't give the devs money at all.

Here is a guide. never pre order unless you are ok with getting disappointed, ether bugs or the game not being what you wanted. Normally i recommend waiting for player reviews etc ( a week after release) thats when you get the most accurate overview from steam reviews if something bad is afoot .. like a game so buggy you cant play it.

IF ! you dont really care about this and wanna support developers early you can always pre order the game. But i would not complain later that the game was not as expected etc. i often got burned when pre ordereing games. Normally i just blame my self unless the game was extremely broken etc :P . This is because i dont wanne be disapointed like No mans sky again.

In this case here as an example i pre ordered the game because of the nonsense attack on the developers because they use the Potter universe even though the original creator has nothing todo with the game. I dont like nonsense activism like that. Also the game looks very good. Will it be good ? well i am a bit worried since the developer never seem to have done something so grand and detailed. This screams launch problems.

That said i will show early support for the devlopers with the help of sales. But everyone has to decide them self why they wanna pre order, But it must be for your own reasons not because other people tell you so =)

Wait for preorder, then buy it now.

The developers of this game have no track record of open world games or anything to suggest it will innately be good. A preorder is risky enough as you're paying full price for something unproven... At least in some cases, like with Bethesda Softworks, you know their games work a certain way and the quality you may be able to expect.

With this, you have some footage, an IP people adore and a jist of the game. It can be vastly misleading. Never preorder if you can help it, definitely do not give money to people that haven't previously rewarded you for doing so with a great product.
