Patronus?

Anyone know if we'll be able to use the Patronus charm in this game? If so will we be able to use our patronus from the wizarding world site, like the wands and such?

Since the game is a love letter to harry potter as a whole I'd be confident in assuming the Patronus spell is included. However I would assume it'll be the same type of patronus for everyone as creating a whole bunch of models for the different animals doesn't seem a feasible use of resources with everything else they need to make, though who knows.

Yeah, my best guess is that we will all have the same patronus just to save time- But it would've been cool to see more patronus placed into the game. Like that of the stag, meercat and owl. Maybe even the dragon one.

Well, we've clearly got Dementors in the game.. so fingers crossed we can!

Hopefully we get to pick our own or have the game pick one for us based on a SMART system that tracks appearance, house, relationship, and overall behaviour regarding your choices but that's too much to ask.

Well iirc there are different types of patronus. In POA Harry and Lupin seem to use a partial patronus the simple shield version, and then later the full body stag/spirit animal patronus.

So maybe to standardise it we might be able to use the basic shield version if they do include it at all, that would be my guess.

They've actually said that if you link your wizarding world account, you get your wand, your house, and your patronus. I can't remember where I saw this, but it's what pushed me to link the account.

Creating the Harry Potter Fan Club's account transferable on Hogwarts Legacy, you can "choose" also the patronus, so... yes, i think we'll HAVE TO (🤣) use also that spell

I've seen a lot of people saying this. They only say your house and wand will carry over. You should assume your Patronus will not be included. Combat is too fast paced for any meaningful full Patronus anyways, unless it'd be a finisher or cutscene. I would not count on the Patronus being included or added

Your Patronus IS included when you link your account, but only if you look at your save file with a hex editor and search patronus. There is a value listed (my patronus is dragon) . The spell and patronus is not actually used in game...yet
