Can't choose gender?

I've seen some videos on TikTok lately mention you can customize almost everything, but you can't choose gender? I got confused. How will this work? Is it similar to what they did in Rust where you're doomed to play (refund in my case) with whatever abomination luck granted you or what's the deal here? If it's gender locked I will refund this asap.

The devs said in a gameplay reveal that they wanted to basically give you the option to put yourself in the game. From what we were showed you can get pretty crazy with it. If you would like, I can try to find that one dev blog for you.

There are gameplay videos out already from the developers directly that show what you're capable of doing. But go ahead and watch TikToks about it and not research any further? This is like, surface level information that I'm sure you already deliberately looked for considering you use terms like "inclusiveness delirium". People like you getting on Steam have ruined discussions boards.

I think you can customise your character with male or female hair/facial features etc... But you gotta choose which dorm you wanna use, whether it be the Witch or Wizard dorm.

This is what I mean. You have a firm grasp on reality and you're still losing it. We probably agree on a lot of things. Depends what you mean by gender. You select a body that fits your needs and in the creation process they have an option to be called "Witch" or "Wizard" which are generally the male/female pronouns for the wizarding world.
