This is bad logic. Why would Denuvo only target AAA studios if their product is so effective? Denuvo is available for anyone, but it's very expensive ($100k-$500k) so typically only AAA studios can afford it. But how does it benefit Irdeto to keep Denuvo's effectiveness private? Irdeto is a business, and businesses exist to make money, and showing that your product is effective to the public is a great way to increase business.
You can go look at a list of cracked Denuvo games. The only 2 that were cracked due to developer leaks were Doom Eternal and NFS Heat. Denuvo v5 came out in 2018 so you can just look at all those games past 2018 that were cracked within 1 month and give me excuses on all of them, since you apparently know the reasons all these games were cracked anyway.
no, it isn't. because denuvo isn't a public product. it is not a product you can decide to just buy... it is a service, a service intended for game dev studios. so explain, why should a service intended for game dev studios have their info public for everyone to see, instead of simply giving that info to their potential clients only?
You really need me to explain that to you? If Denuvo provided public information that their product was effective at converting pirates into sales, then anti-Denuvo sentiment would be significantly diminished, which is something that would be beneficial for Irdeto. You aren't thinking like a business.

final fantasy XV: cracked before release 4.8, got cracked because the demo did not contain denuvo and origin didn't encrypt the preload. if you have an denuvoless demo, it is easier to crack, which is why it got cracked before release

in conclusion: out of the 40 games you mentioned I was able to find 10 that took longer than 29 days to crack, 11 cracked due to developer mistakes and only 19 remain.
these 19 remaining titles are the titles I couldn't find anything specific around. which brings us to my second reason: denuvo version... or did you forget about that? that's right, this does not reflect how the current denuvo versions are at securing launch periods(which was my argument after all). as of right now we are at version 15, not 5

Nope, thank you for admitting that Denuvo is no guarantee to a secure launch. As you said yourself, it's not unbreakable and there are many instances in which Denuvo was cracked in 1 month. I just don't know why it took me actually listing the games for you to admit that.

Did you forget why you kept asking me for a list of games? You said Denuvo secures the launch period. That's objectively false. Nobody claimed recent Denuvo versions aren't harder to crack than older versions, so your entire argument is a strawman. The point is that Denuvo can never guarantee a developer that their game won't be cracked within 1 month.

Point is that there is more evidence of Denuvo's harm to consumers than there is evidence of Denuvo's ability to convert pirates into sales, which is the only thing that matters when it comes to preventing piracy. Because if the pirates weren't going to buy your game in the first place, the only person who gets hurt is the consumer.
I don't know what your issue is but you can still play your Steam games offline even when Steam is down.

Now you're making outrageous claims. You already admitted that the current version of Denuvo is NOT unbreakable, so how can you still claim that it GUARANTEES a secure launch period? That's just cognitive dissonance.
The only thing that guarantees a "secure launch" is a lack of determination to crack the game and that Denuvo has poached most of the crackers over time, or have had them arrested. There is no "guarantee". All it takes is someone who is motivated and talented enough to crack the game to completely defeat that "guarantee". You are using anecdotal evidence to imply that Denuvo games are currently impossible to crack within the first month.
