Has anyone heard that there will be romance options in this game?

If there was anything sexual in this game, it likely would have been reflected in the age rating. Given the fact that they felt the need to reveal that the Herbology teacher is interested in witches in her bio, we'll likely see some romance occurring between NPCs, but whether our character can experience romance themselves is still up in the air.

but when it becomes the main focus of a game with options for every npc and in every dialogue...then it's not even the game i signed on for. I would probably refund. Im not sitting thru 800 romance dialogues to get thru a game. These "Turn Every Game into a Pornographic Visual Novel" people need to get a life.

I doubt you will be forced into it. Romance will likely be optional content.

romance is odd to you guys, to me romance is about holding hands, giving the girl you like a rose or a flower, having the girl move aside so they can sit next to each other and study, maybe go watch quiddich together, or a kiss on the cheek or so. I have no idea why some people think romance is "let's mate like bunnies on a full moon" O.O

Game is rated T so nothing too mature will occur. Which makes perfect sense because we are playing as a 15 year old and showcasing that type of relationship between underage teens would be a big no-no as far as the laws of various countries are concerned.

Besides, nothing wrong with a game exploring emotional intimacy and leaving out the physical intimacy altogether. Holding hands, a few chaste kisses, unconditional support for each other, when written well, can be far more impactful than showcasing physically intimate relationships.

I was 12 when I first dated and we went to the movie, watched said movie and my dad picked me up after. I saw no issue with that then or now. I feel the same here too..if the character I'm playing is like "Hey Tommy, I like you. Can you be my boyfriend?" and they walk around holding hands or so, that should be no issue. The whole thing confuses me.

I don't think people have an issue with innocent school-yard crushes and boyfriend girlfriend dynamics. I think a lot of people, however, conflate physical relations with romance because so many games do that and they DON'T want that in a Rated T game where you play as an underage teen.

You see i think it's just because they have allergies of romance, they hate love in real life, or they sick of love, they can't watch this, some ppl want to be alone forever, or they don't know what mean is love, and they can't feel it. But if in the game exist romance, nobody force do it, you have always choice, stay friend or be together.
