What will the pet system be like?
I hope the player can choose the animal that identifies itself. And that you have a very high range of options.

Finally an interesting topic! Very curious to see how it works as well. I loved the bit where we saw a cat being magically brushed :steamhappy:

While I would probably take a cat, it would definitely be nice to see a lot of options. Has any information come out about this topic?
Thank you!!
That part was a Knead the cat.
He is a fantastic creature. Dai does not count as a witch's pet. Remember that Hermione's cat was a half-breed makeout.:crtstressed:
Ocelatte: No, but it would be interesting to know something. For now I'm just speculating

RABBIT~ RABBIT~ Yeaa~

No seriously. rabbits are cute adorable furballs that are less likely to be McGonna-remind-me-of-burgers or Wormtail (I mean seriously. Who wants to have a pet rat? At least go for a hamster)

The quiz on getting your House at Wizardingworld.com always includes the question of your pet, and includes:
- Cat
- Toad
- Owl

An article at the same site also includes:
- Rat

I wish I could take a Pangolin along. Really like these.

I doubt we will be able to select anything else than a fixed Owl. Just adding the animations for so many animals is loads of extra work.

I chose owl but my patronus is a wild rabbit. If animagus is a possible quest like it is in Hogwarts Mystery I'd probably choose bird again.

Oh that's something I didn't think of, animagus transformations. I would love something like that.

I'd definitely want to be some sort of bird, I love flying so much.

choose the animal that identifies itself?, what?
Flamekeeper: Yes, choosing an animal to accompany the player on his wizarding journey. I would like a snake. hahahaha
Schutzengel: True, but it would be interesting. Because an owl is very neutral.

I would love a snake. A little hognose, or something like that. <3

I remember seeing something about the house that you build/customize will be able to take in pets that you tame or something along those lines.

The Room of Requirement.

Later in that video, they say that you can 'rescue' magical beasts ...

... and restore them in the Room of Requirement. It seems that greenhouse-like building, the "Vivarium", that features a customizeable mini-world akin to Newt Scamanders coffer is located inside the Room of Requirement and is where you can interact with found beasts.

Yea, this is what I was thinking of.. To me, it looks like the game will be alot of fun, with plenty to do and discover.
