Crashes on Cryptic Loading Screen (Only after patch on 11/30)

Hi,
I have a problem where STO crashes on the screen where it says "Cryptic" and is loading the game's assets. This started after the patch on 11/30/2012.
It says "Oops! Your cryptic application has crashed. Please submit a report." It also has different error ticked IDs every time.
What do I do? I've re-downloaded, verified, manually patched, re-installed, cache-verified, installed the non-steam version, and tons of other stuff.
Help please!

uninstall, use the ccleaner, erase the cache and the temps folders, and ♥♥♥♥, as if you had never installed, reboot and try again.

Sometimes the game gets unstable after a dang new Update. They should FIX these stupid bugs and not MAKE MOAR!

If you are able to get the launcher to start at the top right click options before entering user name and password. In there you can try to start with a "Safe mode" or try to turn on/off "on demand patching" So you can patch in game between zones instead of a bulk dl at log in. Other than that they have proxy server settings, which may help if it's a connection speed crash.
