lil hint it seems set weapons count even in 2ndary slot for set bonuses.
was that what you meant?
I generally deploy engineer stuff while the teammates clear the field. Stick a wall where the bots like to gather and get stuck there while the teammates wipe it clean. Firing the big fat phaser rifle with it's huge bolts generally becomes noticable.
In crowd situations I would get the shotgun out. KAPUF. 8 gone. reload. KAPUF another 6 gone Reload.
If theres a enemy way up yonder I'll break out the 116 I think those are called. If you ever see the A model get it with both hands because you can hit enemies that your teammates can see with that one. (*Its probably removed from the game by now) BLAP! enemy gone.
Theres finally a minigun somewhere in the pile I crafted it for dakka a long time ago. It gets boring whirring the thing for a hour waiting for the enemy bot to accumulate the hit points needed to be defeated. I'll get back to it. As I said before STO ground is clumsy to a certain degree. If they built it so that all you have to do is point the damn weapon and hit the mouse button as you move like they do in the FPS's it will be pretty good. But no. You have to point, fiddle and this and that and finally get a round off. While a dozen get inside your personal space.
