Best way to level up?

I got the obelisk carrier, and I want to use it, but the problem is that I am only a lt commander. Can you tell me the best way to get real admiral? And hopefully the fastest?

Honestly. I found going through the episodes to be the best. he later ones give massive amounts of skill points and expertise.

With the rep system you need all the expertise you can get. I recomend the episodes as well.

I also agreem with the previous writers. Playing Epsioduc Story Missions is the best way to get XP, as every mission done gives exactly a level up, the normal loot, the standard gained XP and a (in a few cases usefull) item o more.

If you're a fed, just go on patrol missions, they give an insane amount of exp for the 3-5 minutes you do them in. You'll be 50 in a couple of hours.

Mirror universe event also gives tons of XP.

Just play the episodes, and there is also a borg daily event that gives experience boost. Which means you can level up faster by doing these. You can only play once per day though.

Anyways, just keep playing the episodes.

The game is so quick to level up, compared to other mmo; you should be able to level easily either doing the story from the episodes (klingon, romulans, breen and so on), or you can follow the road of the exploration missions, which gives you more xp but less gear.

Once you hit 15 I think, you can use the special missions like the borg ones and the PVE raids missions, which gives you a ton of XP

There is als the DOFF system, so you can send your men on different missions for you when you don't play, and get a lot of XP and dilithium.

This is the fastest XP/hour in the game. But since this event only lasts an hour and comes around just a bit over once a day, you might want to supplement this with other things. The story missions are one example (immediately after you complete one, you can replay it. The first replay has no cool-down but this is probably dead boring).

On the other paw, if you only have an hour or so to kill, you can go from 11 to 50 in 4-8 hours worth of Mirror Incursions. Particularly if you chose the KDF faction. Better than 10 levels per Mirror if you're lucky*. You'll be T4/Mk 10 capable in no time.

*i.e. a smart team that ignores conventional wishdom / wiki on Mirror and no lag so you can squeeze in a dozen or more Mirrors during that hour.

The problem with that is that they don't give quite enough. If you don't get enough to level up, then you can't start the next episode. That's why (and this was most likely by design) you need to supplement it with other missions.

Other advantage with episodes, they help you keep your gear in line reasonably with level.
