Everytime i launch STO, the updating is very slow, how do i make it faster?

More RAM, CPU, Better internet connection, stop programs running in the background, especially programs streaming from internet. -Programs like various torrents and alike.
other than that, it is propably not much to be done. How long since you cleaned up your computer for excessive old random software, did defrag and general maintenance of your computer (scan/clean for virus/bloatware/malware, regscan/clean).
