NX class light escort for admiral level
I am a huge fan of the ENT series of star trek and in STO i bought the Enterprise era bundle ages ago and the ship ... stupidly before that, and iv always loved it and am sick of not being able to stand a fight in admiral level combat. So i wanted to know how i could increase hull for the ship, so that there is more than 10,000 or any way to just generally make it combat usable for admiral level.

It's an old, old ship. You can't expect it to do any good compared to a 25th Century ship.

If your in a fleet try and get some battles going within your fleet only using that level of ship, shuttle combat can also be fun amongst fleet.

can fleet comab boost its effectiveness? and i know its an old old ship, commanded by Archer old, thats why i like it but i understand that its like a shuttle compared to 25th century federation vessels.

sorry i meant *combat in the first sentence
I truly feel your pain, but for different ships. I personally would shell out a LOT for a Light Cruiser Retrofit (Miranda, Shikar and Centaur classes) and a Cruiser Retrofit (Constitution, Vesper, Exeter and Excalibur classes). However, for much the same reason as the NX, they can't or don't want to make it happen. So just like you, im stuck with my Miranda as a starter ship.

Ya you can make custom fleet events and make everyone use lower tier ships, but a retrofit is still necessary. The Miranda light cruiser would be quite a unique ship at endgame.

Im afraid that other than putting on better gear, your NX is stuck where it is.

And yet we have the Kumari also from Enterprise that holds its own to any other end-game ship.

Thats another fact, plenty of 22nd and 23rd century vessels are already available at endgame.

Federation has Kumari, D'Kyr and Excelsior Retrofits, the latter both available as original and refit appeareance.

Romulans have T'Varo and Dhelan retrofits (the Dhelan is a 23rd century design according to its info)

Klingons have Somraw Raptors and D7 + K't'inga battlecruiser retrofits, as well as plenty of ships that appear to look like 22nd century vessels (Hegh'ta, Koro'tinga or Vo'Quv just to name a few, note their warp nacelles in particular).

There is absolutely NO REASON for the following ships (and their fleet versions) not to exist:

Feds:

- Light Escort Retrofit
- Light Cruiser Retrofit (contains 1 25th century ship design)
- Cruiser Retrofit (contains 3 25th century ship designs)

Klingons:

- Unnamed 22nd Century Bird-of-Prey Retrofit
- D5 Battlecruiser Retrofit (whenever it gets made)

Romulans:

- Light Warbird Retrofit missing T'Liss variant for no good reason

One other method to make the ship class (!) available as a retrofit would be to simply exclude the undesired models, but they won't even do that. Theres lots of hypocrisy going on at this point.

"Thats another fact, plenty of 22nd and 23rd century vessels are already available at endgame."

I agree with Xeno, i own the D'kyr and Kumari only because they are from the series that i love, and both have a much much better chance of holding out against a borg attack, probably due to there base hull, because my NX class can hold out only until the shields drop ... then im screwed
Ya, that sucks. And what sucks more is when people get on your case if you fly a handicapped ship that is low tier (I understand it though). My only suggestion is to stick with whatever ships are your next favorites in line. Maybe one day the stars align and we finally get the ships, or at least some, that I listed.

So for me, I fly the Galaxy Retrofit instead of a Constitution (even if it isn't as good as it could be) and a Nebula in place of a Miranda.
