So I beta tested and bought the game back when it first came out under cryptic studios but do not remember my account info. Can it still be recovered? Is it worth even trying or has PW changed the game so much it doesnt matter?

Unless you have actual money investments on that account, doesn't matter. Many things have changed and content added so much since the beginning just make a new account.

But you say you "bought it" meaning before it went F2P, you may have some content there. I would suggest contacting PW/Cryptic support directly to find out whether the account stil exists.

You're SOL for the most part. I gave up recovering a former account (I am -very- meticulous about my usernames and passwords) after a week of going back and forth with support.

Was the account pre F2P (retail box DVD)? If so, you have a chance to activate the code and obtain the goods it featured to your current account (unless has been activated already).

You still can try to recover the account. Some details needed: email, preferably credit card info (if you ever paid for the game online). The question is it worth the effort? Guess not, nothing special. Just for a few useless accolades.

Thank for your help. I was able to get a account back not sure if it was mine or my sons. We do not remember playing the character or ship that is listed but has the pre order stuff in a legacy unlock tab from D2D where we bought the digital deluxe code. Ah such fond memories. Is the NX ship prefix rare or was it sold in the cash shop?

NX-prefix is currently purchasable at C-Store, no idea whether it originally was a part of any package or bundle.

NX- prefix was given with the Digital Deluxe Edition release a few years ago.
