Steam ingame overlay

not sure if there is a quick fix or if its bigger problem and steam or STO devs are working on a fix but i am unable at this time to pull up the steam in-game overlay but it only seems to be STO that the overlay don't work while in game.

Have you made sure that you have the "Enable Steam overlay in-game" box checked in your STO properties ?

STO is one of many games that don't work properly with the overlay because they run DX11. It requires some additional work on the part of the game developer.

yeah made sure on both the game and steam settings

it's fine now though as i used a friends computer to buy zen,thanks for the comments.

how do you "enable steam overlay in STO? I ask because I checked if my account has steam overlay active (it does in the settings, it has a check box on it, same with the properties of the STO shortcut as reflected in my steam library) but I still can't purchase ZEN in the Zen store, all I get when I click on the pop up that comes up when you select payment option (STEAM Wallet only on the drop down list) a pop up box comes up and states "do you want to purchase with ?" what's the question mark (?) for? does it not recognize my steam wallet credits? full disclosure, my steam wallet credits are now reflected in my region/countrys currency and not in dollars the way it used to be before STEAM changed it.

perhaps the STO can't recognize the currency? and if so, what are they doing to fix it? because hey, I'm a paying customer here and they are making it difficult for me to pay for in game items using my steam wallet credits???
