Displaying your character's full name

I know that after character creation your middle and last name is somehow lost, but if you change your name in game and add a middle and last name how do you display it? I've seen several people on ground and in space, but I can't figure out how to do it on my toons.

Can anyone tell me please?

They're not using the middle and last name slots. It's all written in the slot for the "first name"

The name you put in the First box is your user name. This is the name other people see.

You can add a First name/Last name and the NPC's will adress you as Captian Sharpe, not Captian Mike Sharpe in my name case.

Man, what? I spent so much time making sure I had a lore-accurate name for nothing? I can't ever find it again?

Some foundry missions and other missions will address you by your full in-game name, but otherwise it's quite useless.
