Stuck at Starfleet Academy!

So I just beat the intro mission where you have to fight the Borg at Vega, and I was taken to Earth Spacedock and then to Star Fleet Academy and now I can't beam back up to ESD or anything. I'm stuck.

I've tried relogging, I've tried changing lobbies. No good. They sent out an update today so that may be the source of the problem but any help would be very much appreciated, Thank You!

you need to transwarp out , using one of your older missions.

LoL, this just happened to me other day. Not a common bug Id wager, and reloggin didnt fix it for me either. Was weird, but I had to do what Masked said. I loaded an older mission and used it to transwarp out since everything else was greyed out.

After the mission where you fight the borg at Vega, there are no repeatable missions before that. You can't load an older mission and use it to transwarp out. I'm in the same situation.

I ended up having to restart my character. It didn't take me too long to get back to where I was since I could skip all of the dialogue and cut scenes. Make sure when you get to Earth Spacedock DON'T CLICK on "warp to Starfleet Academy" or you'll most likely be stuck there again.

I'm waiting for them to fix this, one of the devs are aware of this now. If it's not fixed in 5 days I'll probably restart too.

I only get stuck when I beam in with a Romulan. I guess Romulans aren't cool enough to hang out at Star Fleet Academy. So I stopped going there with them. I only brought those Romulans there for doffs, but they kept taking all the free Vulcan donuts n coffee. We got kicked out. " This is the story I keep telling myself while I wait for them to fix it". lol : )

you think the devs are smart enough to make an emergency fix for a fatal bug like this. one that's actively killing off any new playerbases while at the same time alienating their older ones with this "update". i mean back in the day, updates actually served to make the game better, not make it worse. so i guess it's only natural for them to just wait till AFTER the permanent damage has been done till they decide to do anything about it on next scheduled maint. good thinking, devs. i'm really glad you're taking steps from capcom. hope to see you become just like them in the very near future.

I m stuck to on starfleet academy... are they going to fix that problem or what???
I was walking around for 2 days using my tricoder to find path...nothing .. its stupid .. I m so angry aaahh ...

Don't you have to see the guy about a ship command first? That way you have somewhere to go other than the starbase.

Romulan just finished allegiance quest and was doing some sightseeing at ESD and SFA.
Only mission to transwarp to I get to do/redo at this point costs 18k energy and I have like 2k.

I'm not going to start this over, ship combat with that pile of garbage first warbird wasn't that great and if they don't fix this character its going to be 'alt-f4, uninstall' for me.

Hopefully this thred will catch the ears of the devs and they'll get to fixing. Other than that, like I said, restart worked for me.

fortunately, at least one romulan episode provides a free transwarp : "Helix".
As someone said here earlier, just hit the replay button beside that mission/episode, and you can transwarp for free, out of that damn academy :)

unfortunately, poeple keep saying this but don't explain where this damned button is supposed to be. I only found the Helix in the Log and there are no buttons at all to do anything with that log entry, its just text.

Really? i thought every single player discovered the episodes thing early on.

If you're not aware of episodes, i highly suggest you have a look to that section of the character sheets ; they're quite rewarding, tells some good/great chapter-based stories.

1. press J to open your quest listings, logs,...
2. click the "EPISODES" tab on top of that window
3. on the left part, select the first (or second) main episode chapter button
4. then on the right scroll up/down till you find the "HELIX" mission/episode summary
5. click "REPLAY" right there
6. you can now transwarp directly to that mission entry point, by CLICKING TRANSWARP button right below the mission summary on the right part of that window


By the way, the very first line in today's patch ChangeLog is :

Resolved an issue which was blocking Federation Aligned Romulans from leaving Starfleet Academy.
