Tray resets? (possible walkaround)
Is there anything I can do on my end to make the game not reset my tray everytime i dock.. it's killing me...

Strange, i can do everything in the game, even log out and my traybar is fine. But if i dock or go ground everything is messed up. This is from earth spacedock. Ill try another station.

some klingon toons have that happen its a bug there working on.

theyre not working on it you lie XD, this has been a long standing issue.... but yes its a known issue i try not to do any stf type event from sector space it seems to help but it isnt 100% i still get tray resets about every 3rd load usually on klingon and romulan.

I've had a few glitches with the loadout system, but I've never had it reset completely.

Try this: after you creat your loadout slot and save it, use the "save as" function in space and it'll (usually :P) save your tray settings. At the very least, you'll only need to reload the saved loadout if anything causes you to lose your tray settings rather than have to set it up from scratch.

Goto space and save the ship loadout. If the issue still persists.. Save it in space, how-swap to a different ship and then swap back again.

If it breaks again(because you changed equipment), saving loadout usually fixes it.

I've been having that issue as of lat e as well. I tried all that they are saying and kept getting it, I then verified game cache through Steam and haven't had it since. But it seems like a fix that is too simple to not have been found already...

Okay thank for your feedback I'll try it right away and report back!

Edit : Launcher is downloading full client now after I verified, steam said I was missing 12 files so my hopes are really up this time.

Edit 2 : Nope, No dice. I surrender...

Good news everyone! This is what you do! (Sticky this in your thread admin?)

1) Go to Sector space.

2) Set up your bar/items and active space doffs.

3) Save the loadout ("Main")

4) Remove an item from your ship.

5) Save a new loadout ("other")

6) Switch back to the "Main" load out.

great info and workaround! dont expect it will be 100% but innovative thinking like the player community has is what the devs need to learn instead of being apathetic and hurried.

That is the workaround that did not work for me :P Worked for one day then verifying cache made it "stick".

Still works for me, I do it everytime i change fitting or crew or traybar powers. :)

Make sure you are in space when saving your loadout, otherwie skills and tray icons are NOT saved.
