How to get Energy Credits Fast and Effective

Well, I recently encountered a mission that involves me spending about 20,000 energy credits gathering supplies, with no reembursment, which put into light that I have literally 0 no efficient way of gathering energy credits, other than selling crap I salvaged from blown up ships. If anyone has a personal way of gathering these nasty things fast and easy please share em for the newbies :D

Purple 20-30mil) So please if you will, find yourself another bridge to troll from under and troll another game's fourm...

Also if you read my Post my you would see the 1st half is about earning Fleet Credits and using Dil and Doffs on projects.. which i had thought, at least to someone with a grasp of English and the fact that i DIDN'T use a "k" following 300.. You would see that i was pointing out by using todays currently used math system for a player to earn 300 Fleet credits they could spend 300 Dil (bad deal) or use 1 common Doff (great deal)....

who said anything about buying officers from the fleet... the OP is making EC... and i was pointing out listing Common Doffs are a great way to make EC and why there'd be a demand for them.. In no way did I claim or state that selling common Doffs were the "best" way at making EC.. Only that it was a good/great way since common Doffs are useless really and green uncommons are easy to get to replace common ones...
