mission: smoke and mirrors Key point enemies will not be defeated

Im coming from console xbox series x, I have been playing sto for a lengthy time and have sunk thousands of dollars into this mess. And I have played smoke and mirrors on new frontiers chapter many times but as of late on my new character I played it again and after the defeating of the ships, we arrive on ground and we do the routine allll the way up to the barricade....And then we do the dialogue..and then the ambush where the objective is to defeat the enemies... Well They don't die....at allll. Ive aborted and reloaded....Ive aborted, dropped and reloaded, Ive aborted, dropped, warped out, warped in and reloaded, ive taken offf all my weapons and my crew weapons and reloaded, ive uninstalled and reinstalled then reloaded....and they still wont die...They are a key point to deal with to PROGRESS a main mission line...and you cannot progress till they are dead, and you cant fight them till you complete prior objectives...And I have TRYD every way to get through and it's not possible.

This bug Is infuriating and should not even be in the game considering how muc these greedy devs make from micro transactions alone, i can tolerate the bs market system, i can tolerate the crap exchange, i can tolerate the minor visual glitches, but A glitch that halts progression on a main story mission is not acceptable when hundreds of thousands of dollars are being pumped into this fn garbage heap...and if there is any way to get through this bug that i havent tryd please some one here help cause support pretty much said lol don care

ok, go to your mission episode page .
if you are high enough there should be leftmost button called skip next to transwarp(or travel).
