How to calculate my characters TRUE hight.
So my character has longer legs and torso sliders, which do not change the height indicator at the bottom, and i want to calculate my characters true height for their biography.
The problem is i need a known height reference, and the know how to use that to properly gauge the difference. Anyone know how or willing to assist me?

Only thing I can think of is doorways... not sure if the doorways at the Academy or other locations are to any kind of standard, but in real life, most commercial doorways are 7 to 8 feet.
That was literally my first thought as well, but i can tell you, they are NOT 7 to 8 feet tall....
In fact doorways throughout the game are so varied i just... gave up.
If you are going off doorways, probably the only reliable ones would be the doors for the Constitution, Galaxy, and Intrepid (Voyager) paid Bridges. Pretty confident most if not all of the NPCs are upscaled in size. But I am not certain of any method as well
As a general guideline, the average step length for a typical adult of average height running at an average speed is 2.2 to 2.5 feet —approximately 0.67 to 0.76 meters—and stride length is usually around double that.
. good luck from here. btw there is a recruiter for that dwarfen race in sf academy, they have a max size too, could compare her.

This is a bit to complicated... i also doubt the developers took any of this into account...=/
I know all the characters look huge in this game. If you make one that's a normal human height of say 5,4 -5,8 for a female, and 5'11 - 6 feet for a male, you will look tiny compared to literally everybody else lol. Everyone always makes such huge characters in this game.
You could try to scale yourself off of one of the canon characters. Find out what the actors height is.

There's no guarantee that the game character is scaled correctly, but it's as good a reference point as any.

That's because of the exact problem the OP is mentioning. The height slider is just a general scaling factor, it doesn't "update" when you adjust the neck, torso, or leg sliders directly.
