Anniversary Gifts Question (I'm a stupid newbie)

So, I'm a stupid newbie...

I saw that one of the anniversary gifts is a T6 Promo Ship that I am supposed to be able to acquire from the "C-Store" in the game--according to the announcement.

So, here's my stupid question: despite having checked the store tab on the HUD, I have NO idea where exactly I am supposed to go to claim this perk.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

You want to click the last tab in that store labelled Promotions to claim gifts.
However, each gift during the anniversary event is only available for 24 hours (unless otherwise noted) and the T6 ship coupon was 2 days ago.

Each day there is a different item on offer.

Go to the C-store tab, go down to Promotions, and click on the Infinity Promotion R&D Pack, and click claim. I think there's only a small chance that it will give you a free ship coupon...I opened it and didn't get one. Also claim it before 2/11 12 pm PST or it'll expire.

Correct. Promo ships are like a 1% chance when you open either a promo R&D pack or promo DOFF pack. If you do not get the ship, you get 10 lobi.

The problem with these promotions is that they dont ADVERTISE IT other than VERY SHORT NOTICE.

WE on the forums IS their advertising. LOOK BOYS A FREE SHIP!! COME GET IT.

Thats like shouting fire in a movie house. The people will need some time to get the message. Some will log in right away and get the free ship. Some will be trapped in real world going to work or whatever and unable to log in right now to get the ship. Then they will start logging in hopes of getting something.

This serves DECA's intent on beefing up more people to visit the game and log in for something in this event and maybe continue to play teh game with more participation.

The problem is that the playerbase myself included no longer log in unless its for event time such as the anniversary. Free ships is expected and PLANNED FOR so I was able to log in every night and bingo got it. That saved me 30 dollars plus saved me another 20 to 30 in upgrading costs. Those gifts will come along at some point in 2025 to 2026 and so on in various events for FREE. If you would just be patient and wait.

This is not the end of the world for those who missed out on a free ship because they could not log into the game within the 24 hour block of time for the redemption of the coupon.

It's a good habit to check the Featured, New Items and Promotions tabs when you log in. Sometimes the freebies show up elsewhere, but that's the way to bet.

they used to send emails to long time players to get them to reactivate-we were mad as hell bc some of the gifts were free t6 ships.

Sadly, I missed nearly all the gifts as I wasn't able to play for most of the week since I was abroad and had no access to steam

most of em werent rly unique, aka event rewards- if you can play a bit daily the events are good dil and upgrade/skill point fodder. even if it sjust the red alerts inbetween.
now the event campaign should still have a bit of time left, can our new friend still finish it?

The T6 ship is sort of the prize for the coming year the carrier will be useful somewhat.

The rest of the stuff will come along in the game over course of the year.

I picked up 5 keys last night as a prize.

They were HARD CODED to be BOUND TO YOU where you cannot sell them on exchange now which is running 13 million. One mil above Meta.
