What is up with the new sorting protocols on the exchange!!! What was wrong with organizing it by lowest and newest item like it has been forever and a day?!? This is exactly the garbage that killed Champion's Online kicking off their failed economy's downward spiral with their exact same yet pinhead parameterized auction house. Who brought this up at the planning meeting as a good idea, Robert Bork?



STO overshadowed CO all day every day because STO knew how to manage their exchange while the way more exciting, interesting and developed game dynamics of CO ended up as the weak sister of the pair because their auction house was just hitting every branch of stupid crashing along down the moron tree.



How did ol' Bobby Bork pitch this sabotage: "Hey guys, the good stuff on the exchange costs hundreds of millions of those otherwise worthless e creds; how about we turn it into a nightmare to accrue any fat stacks whatsoever! These endgame players are just selling expensive stuff to then buy other expensive stuff from each other anyway, it's the same pile of cash going back and forth between them all so let's cut into that; we can slow their roll and make them buy more bank and exchange slots while spending more of their day on minutiae we can brand as engagement and player numbers.

"High ticket item sellers will hardly move their stuff and the extra busy work will increase their time in-game re-posting things another 4 or 5 times before seeing anything from it. People with a few e creds tucked away looking to plateau to the next tier will have to spend an extra hour or more a day just to sort through and find some good deal they can afford while better yet, if they're willing to settle for less than BiS for their build so they can get to play a little bit instead of just playing our new exchange mini-game that'll bloat their engagement ever so much further. Those jokers low-balling good gear to keep a steady e cred inflow going and just play to grind their marks & dil all day, well they're used to currency grinds already and we'll finally pull them into the minutiae and paperwork crunch they're avoiding with all their buyers market hijinks. They've all been playing this thing for decades, what are they going to do, just go play Bridge Commander or Starfleet Command. We're fixing glitches they've grumbled about forever while they kept on playing, that'll keep them happy while we get back a few hundred of those LTS Zen we give them every month for an extra slots purchase or two."
