Hugh died in Picard on the scavenged borg cube. He's dead. Why is he in an episode set AFTER picard? I'm not complaining, I'll take it. I'm just pointing out the fundamental problem with this story line that's all lol.

the current episode is dealing with alternate dimensions so, he is likely from an alternate dimension.

Yeah, there's all kinds of ways to bring him into the story sure, and I'm sure it will be lots of fun, can't wait to play it. But I do really appreciate new characters. I've been watching trek sense the next generation was new. I've already seen all their arcs complete time and again in reruns for over 40 years, so these characters aren't new to me. I'm actually kind of bored of them, and would like to see some new stories, with new characters. But again, I'm sure the missions will be loads of fun.

Im not attacking you personally, but you should had learned by now that taking anything "as canon" is just self deprecating bro.
Stop taking what they do "as canon", you are better just making your own head canon on this point lol.

...its not like the big shot upstairs and the so called "fans" help the artists /writers in anyway at this point, people just complain and get ironic, most people don't deserve good things at this point in time, be glad for what we have, it could be a lot worst or we don't have anything at all.
