Shooter mode broken

Anyone else try to use shooter mode 100% of the time? Doubt it. Anyways, I keep trying to make it work but some recent update broke it because the control scheme is janky and does not properly switch over from RPG mode. Same with the camera, the camera transition from distance to over the shoulder in shooter mode is gone now. I know some of yall said its best to go play Mass Effect instead for this, but i've been using shooter mode 95% of the time for the last 4 years. Anyone else experiencing this? Also for anyone else who uses shooter mode how do you deal with all the "clickies" and constant activations? Been dealing with this for 3 years since I hit level 50 but still haven't found a solution to activate abilites fast yet. And no, not using shooter mode is not an answer.
