What kit modules.should I use for a ground weapons build?
I use phaser weapons on the ground, and I want to use kit modules that augment ranged ground weapons (mostly damage and critical hits) to simplify the gameplay.

In STO damage is broken down into three:
Crit H -Critical Chance to hit
Crit D -Critical Severity hit
Acc -Accuracy -I think this hits 25 and all excess bleeds over into Crit H.

So if you want greater chance to hit its Crit H. And if you want bigger damage then its Crit D. Most tactical players from what I know throw it all into Crit D. I think its something about it flowing better with Tactical abilities. So maybe focus on those things for your Weapon. You can use the universal kits unlocked in missions and else where but they are no where near as beneficial.

That all said for KITs -this -though its out of date may help a bit:

Also check her location in the game:

On ESD and hover over the different ones to see if they may be of help.

Sorry I can't be of more help not really up to date on Tactical Kit consoles. I run an Engineer primarily. One that is spec'd for space combat and not really a ground runner.

Though IF I do solo ground missions -I usually give my character a disruptor weapon and the BOFFs get antiproton weapons. Don't know why but it just seems to make the mission go quicker.

Which class? Some kits like you describe could be dependent on this.

Buy the summer kit at Risa.

How to get a Risian Kit Frame with perfect mods

Here’s a list of steps to take to get a Risian Kit [KPerf]x3 [Proc]

Buy the Kit Frame in the Summer Store
Put it in the upgrade window once (do not upgrade it) – this makes it re-engineerable
Re-Engineer the 2 random mods (not [Proc]) to [KPerf]
you should now have Risian Kit [KPerf]x2 [Proc] (Very Rare)
Upgrade the Kit Frame to UR/Epic
the UR Mod will always be [KPerf]
Congrats, you now have a Risian Kit [KPerf]x3 [Proc]
