How do you aquire a EV suit (to mine Dilithium) when you haven't got any Dilithium

Titile pretty much says it all, really. I guess, what I;m asking is, is there a way to get an EV suit, or do I have to just wait until I start doing missions that pay Dilithium first, and then just go and buy one ?

I have some ZEN points, but as far as I can tell the EV suit can only be bought with Dilithium right ?

You can do Fleet Events that give you Dilithium to get yourself suits.

There is a vendor at the mining station or from the dilthium store in your UI. Also Boldly they rode rewards one. Or if you are a gold member you can pick up your free one at ESD.

Ok, firstly,

thanks for the replies. Sadly I am not a gold member, as this is/was the first MMO I ever tried. I am such a n00b to this sort of game, and not being "the sharpest tool in the box", I must confess that although I am thoroughly enjoying this so far, I know I have not got my head around it yet.

I have a few other questions, will it be ok to ask away in this thread anyways ?

You can get an EV suit for free by running the Deep Space 9 episode series, I believe the mission in question is Boldly They Rode. It's not actually a mission reward, you just pick it up during the course of the mission.

It is supposed to be a pretty late mission. A friend of mine was level 50 after having it done.

You can get an awesome purple level one in the last dyson mission.

Or simply pay about 100 EC on the exchange for one without bothering with dilithium.
The Tholian reward packs contain them often, so theres more suits than people can use. You can get a decent blue one for super cheap that way.

Just look for "Environmental Suit" in the "personal armor" category.
