New ships coming in the future
I think one of the ships added in the future of STO should be a Enterprise-J style ship from the series Enterprise

That class of ship would be to far into the future to be in this game. It's also way to big.
The Enterprise-J is at least a hundred years ahead of where STO is now.
It is also 2 miles wide, they'd give it a turn rate of 0.
They could make it smaller than it was shown as and they could introduce it in a mission like they did with the Enterprise-C in "Temporal Ambassador".
The difference here is that the Ambassador-class deserves its place in the game.
Before we add even more fancy future ships (looking at you Wells), I'd rather add more TMP/TNG era ships. Also the countless low level ships the Klingons don't have retrofits of.

To be blunt, other than some low level ships not having retrofit equivalents, the feds have enough ships for now. The KDF needs some love for once.

I agree with you that they need more ships for other factions Xeno but maybe farther in the future they could add in the J-class. Ever since I saw the episode with the Enterprise-J I've wanted to see it in the game. There is supposed to be another expansion later this year, and hopefully there will be many new ships for each faction.
The size of the ship has little means, related to the turn rate, since the engine power is scaled up based on the ship size. Even if it is 2 mile long; it would have more or less the same turn rate of a heavy engineer ship.

The original Enterprise is not that faster than the bigger Enterprise E, altho the size is probably 2.5 to 1, so if you make a ship that is 2.5 times bigger than a current capital ship, it won't be much slower.

But we already have a ton of ships....I am still waiting for some big Eng ship, since so far, we had the Vesta that was Sci oriented, and the new dyson one that is also Sci oriented. The Kumari was another ship that went for the Tac, so in the end, a pure Eng ship is still yet to come. They have Eng friendly variation, but problably the Galaxy and the Excelsior are the only pure Eng ship that the game has.

I would cut a bunch of ships from the game; since you end up always play with 1 or 2 in the end, once you get to level cap. It was more fun if the ship would scale with your level, but then nobody would buy new ship :)
Enterprise sucks. There is already enough stuff from it in the game. No need for something in the far future introduced by a prequel.
I thought Enterprise was a great series. I thought it showed a background of Starfleet and The Federation that hadn't been shown before. Still before there are more federation ships I'd rather see more options for the Romulans and Klingon factions. The Romulans really have limited choices for ships until they reach level 40.

Well, Romulans are shown to use very few types of ships. While the Federation or the Klingons always had many different ships, in DS9, for example, the Romulans only use Standard Issue Warbirds, even for supposedly civillian supply transports in allied territory.
In STO there are ships seen in the Federation and Klingon factions that were never seen in shows or movies so I dont see why they can't add a few more options for Romulans too. I felt that the ship selection was too limited because there was only one ship for that rank you could get, Unlike the the Federation and Klingons who still had at least three ships (not counting C-store ships) to choose from so I just think there should be some variety in Romulan ships.
enterprise-j is essentially an overgrown enterprise, from ENT, its a hasty and frankly sloppy piece of artwork, its butt ugly.

It had to be rushed the designer didn't have much time to work on Enterprise-J, so of course it's going to look sloppy.
They accidentally release the Constellation class saucer when they introduced the Mirror Heavy Cruiser Retrofit, so we have a clue that Constellation class is coming at some point. They did mention somewhere that New Orleans, Nigara and Freedom were being considered.
Freedom? I'd rather have the Springfield personally.
